By downloading, installing or using Cadence you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Cadence on Android devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Cadence is a player for audio files that already exist on your device. You are solely responsible for:
The developer does not host, distribute or claim any rights to your audio files. Cadence does not include any built-in music catalog and does not download music.

Cadence is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. By using the app you consent to ads being displayed. Ad delivery, targeting and any consent mechanism for personalized advertising are handled by Google in accordance with Google’s policies. See the Privacy Policy for details about what data Google may collect.
The following features connect to third-party services when you enable or use them. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and the developer is not responsible for them:
We may release updates, add or remove features, or change how the app works at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use of the app after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Effective date” above shows when the current version was published.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. You use the app at your own risk.
Audio effects (equalizer, volume boost, bass boost, etc.) can produce loud or distorted output that may damage hearing or audio equipment. You are responsible for setting safe volume and effect levels.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of audio files, damage to audio equipment or hearing, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. The developer’s total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which, for the free version, is zero).
You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any feature of it, at any time. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the app and survive termination where their nature requires.
Cadence is built with open-source libraries including Media3/ExoPlayer, React Native, Expo, and others. Their respective licenses and copyright notices apply to those components.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
